MARTIN LAW
Martin Law is a producer, director and screenwriter from the North West of England, heading up independent production banner Factory Noir.His debut feature, REPUTATION (2024), received a four-star review from Radio Times upon its digital release. His second feature as director, producer and co-writer, ASPHYXIA, is currently in post-production, following an exclusive cast announcement in Variety.Alongside his production work, Martin is a Senior Lecturer in Film Production and a voting member of the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA). In 2025, he launched the North West Independent Film Festival (NWIFF) in his home city of Preston, celebrating short films from across the UK.
In addition to the production banner Factory Noir, Martin runs the North West Independent Film Festival, a short film festival in his home city of Preston, and he is a voting member of the British Independent Film Awards.
